- Do you have Worker’s Compensation & Liability Insurance?
RVG Landscape is fully insured with $1,000,000 liability coverage, a workman’s comp policy, and an umbrella policy. A Certificate of Insurance is always present with our sales rep for your viewing. You should ALWAYS request this information before hiring a company. Otherwise, YOU are liable for any injury that may occur.
- How do you monitor job hours?
All of our vehicles and heavy-duty machines are equipped with GPS tracking units. Bobcat hours are monitored on a daily basis and trucks “start and end” on your property when the door opens and closes.
- Am I required to sign a contract?
Yes, all clients are required to sign a contract for the safety of both the client and the RVG Landscape. We will not perform any work on a property unless we have a paper agreement between both parties.
- Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, we will provide you with warranty details at signing for all plant installation along with a settlement warranty for interlocking pavers. Please see the warranty info located here.
- How do you prefer to communicate?
We always encourage our clients to talk to us via email instead of a phone call. This helps protect the both of us in case a change order is requested, client and sales representative will be able to refer back to it throughout the implementation process, and it allows us to respond quickly as we work around heavy equipment all day or are in meetings and unable to accept a call.
- Do you use subcontractors?
RVG Landscape has the ability to hire subcontractors. During our busy parts of the season, we may use a subcontractor of our choosing for fencing, pouring footings, pool installation, plumbing, and electrical. These are local companies we work; they provide us a much lower price compared to a client requesting a quote. This is because we recommend each other for work on nearly a daily basis…we all work well together and look out for each other’s reputation. RVG does all the communication with our subcontractors, RVG is responsible for ensuring all work is done to spec, and RVG also accepts all responsibilities.
- Do have a full-time office staff?
Yes, our office is open April 1st-Nov 30th Mon- Fri 9am-6pm. We are closed on the weekend and holidays. Winter hours are Dec 1st-March 30th Mon-Fri 12pm-2pm. We are closed during all snow events to residential clients.
- Do you offer a maintenance program after you completed my project?
Yes, RVG offers maintenance packages for plantings & preventative maintenance for masonry projects.
- Do you offer Snow Plowing?
We do not offer residential snow plowing. Our sister company, RVG Snow & Ice Management, only offers snow & ice services to Northern New Jersey commercial clients. Examples include; Shopping Centers, Industrial Parks, Home Owner Associations, and Private Businesses.
